Before you is a space where I try to summarize some of what I read and connect ideas across books and articles in a somewhat orderly fashion. Doing so should help me practice writing and retain information for research and conversation. I hope my summaries can evolve into journal-quality book reviews. 7/27/2020

Update: It seems that reviewing books (in my case, still just summarizing but slowly approaching reviews) is considered a way to "crack cultural codes." See this approach discussed by Tyler Cowen here. 1/17/2022
Update: I try in these pages to find my voice by deriving from the voices of others in a manner similar to Steven Pressfield's copying of books, word-for-word using a typewriter, as he sought to find a voice of his own. See chapter 30 in Nobody Wants to Read Your Sh*t. 1/24/2022
